What to Expect

A walk-through of your first appointment so nothing catches you by surprise.

Warm Welcome

You will be greeted by name by our front desk team. We will get you settled in our comfortable waiting area and take care of any remaining paperwork. Feel free to help yourself to coffee, tea, or water while you wait.

Getting to Know You

We will sit down to review your dental and medical history, discuss any concerns or goals, and answer all your questions. This conversation helps Dr. Chen tailor your care to your unique needs and comfort level.

Digital X-rays & Exam

We will take digital X-rays (up to 90% less radiation than traditional film) and Dr. Chen will perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and overall oral health. She will explain everything she finds along the way.

Professional Cleaning

Our gentle hygienist will provide a thorough cleaning, removing plaque and tartar buildup, polishing your teeth, and providing personalized brushing and flossing tips. We go at your pace and check in throughout.

Personalized Plan

Dr. Chen will review her findings, discuss any recommended treatments, and work with you to create a plan that fits your health goals and budget. You will leave knowing exactly where you stand and what comes next.

Previous Records

If available, X-rays or records from your previous dentist. We can also request these for you.
